About the editor: ​

Deeann Bongiovanni  incorporates her past experience caring for women and children in neonatal intensive care as an RN into her writing about privacy, pediatrics, and poetry. She holds an MA in Humanities, focused in Literature, from the University of Houston, Clear Lake; a BA focused in Health Policy Research from DePaul University; and she earned a Certificate in Medical Writing from the University of Chicago.
